My name is Anne Walker and I am excited to be the Kindergarten Teacher this year!
We have a busy year of play, discovery and learning.
Welcome to Kindergarten!
My name is Anne Walker and I will be your child’s Kindergarten teacher this year. I have been a teacher at Fulham School for the past 12 years. I taught Kindergarten last school year. I have previously taught Grade 1 and 2. I have also been our school’s Learning Support Teacher. I also am our school’s Leveled Literacy Intervention Teacher.
The Kindergarten students will be taught gym, music, library and health by Miss Marshall. They will be with her from 1:00-2:10 every day. During this time I will be teaching Leveled Literacy Intervention for the school.
Your child will bring home an agenda every day. Please take the time to check for mail, notes from me and to sign it. This is another way you can communicate with me. Feel free to write notes to me as I will check the agendas every morning.
This month we will be learning:
We will be learning about sorting and patterns in math. We will be learning about what makes us unique and being respectful in Social Studies. We will continue to get ready to print and practice cutting skills. Near the end of the month, we will start learning the alphabet with the letter C. We will continue working on friendship skills, fine motor skills and cooperation.
Check back here often as I will be adding different videos and resources that I use in the classroom.
